2-Day Nyerere NP(Selous) Safari from Dar es salaam

Enjoy 2 days safari in Nyerere National Park formerly was known as Selous game reserve, pickup from the hotel/airport in Dar es salaam take 4-5 hours drive to Selous, arrive for hot lunch from the camp/lodge.

The Selous Game Reserve, covering 50,000 square km, is among the largest protected area in Africa and relatively undisturbed by humans. Selous is rich in elephant, cheetah, giraffe, hippos and crocodile, and many other species. The reserve also has an exceptionally high variety of habitats including Miombo woodlands, enjoy game drive and boat safari at the park.

Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Selous game reserve & Boat Safari

Pickup at your hotel or Airport in Dar es salaam drive to Selous game reserve 5 hours drive, enjoy landscapes and features of the country while you are driving, arrive at camp for hot lunch then enjoy boat drive where you will be able to see crocodiles and hippos, dinner and overnight at a camp/lodge.

Day 2: Game drive in Selous game reserve

After breakfast from the lodge with lunch boxes enjoy game drive inside the park expect to see large number of animals like lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra, hyena and etc. You will also see a large variety of birds, wonderful scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains. During afternoon you will take your lunch and have some rest before proceeds with the game drive and after your full day game drive at around 4:00PM you’ll drive back to Dar es salaam. Our driver will drop you off at Airport or any hotel in Dar es salaam.
